After a whirlwind holiday season that included a People’s Choice Award, standout “Saturday Night Live” performances, and a festive iHeartRadio Jingle Ball set, Lizzo is enjoying a well-deserved beach vacation. During the trip on Jan. 10, the “Special” singer shared photos posing in a white swimsuit against a backdrop of picturesque palm trees and a glistening pool. “Always running from a bee,” she captioned the Instagram post, referring to the last snap, which showed the Yitty founder dashing out of the frame.
She paired the simple triangle top and cheeky bottoms with white Prada moon boots, adding white-rimmed sunglasses, large hoop earrings, and a flower crown for good measure. Lizzo‘s not the only one to rock the string bikini and après-ski boot combo as of late — Kylie Jenner recently wore a tiny latex bikini with furry sherpa booties on a trip to Aspen.
While the white triangle-style bikini is a classic, Lizzo often favors more vibrant swimwear. Earlier in the vacation, on Jan. 6, Lizzo spoke out against body-shamers and diet culture on TikTok while standing on the beach in a colorful, swirl-print bikini. “The discourse around bodies is officially tiring,” she said, further addressing comments about her physical appearance. Back in August, she wore a string bikini with high-cut thong bottoms in a Barbiecore-inspired fuchsia hue, pairing the hot-pink suit over floral fishnet tights from Chanel. The singer also chose a groovy, psychedelic-print suit with cutouts and criss-cross ties while hanging poolside in November.
